ASn Overview

Welcome to my Autonomous System, this ASn is designed exclusively for IPv6 and serves as a platform for educational and experimental purposes. It aims to provide a robust environment for understanding and testing IPv6 routing and network management techniques.

Key characteristics of my ASn include:

• Upstreams: Media Veneto SRL (AS49289), Wifiweb SRL (AS47927), Lakenetworks (AS6517)
• Internet Exchanges: INTERIX, BGP.Exchange - Rome, BGP.Exchange - Frankfurt, BGP.Exchange - Amsterdam
• BGP sessions with upstreams are established directly or via GRE tunnel, internet exchanges instead are reached intirely via tunnels (GRE or VXLAN)
• Routers based on Cisco IOS, VyOS, Debian Linux with FRR and Mikrotik RouterOS
• bgp.tools | PeeringDB

About Me

Behind AS216418, it's me—Filippo. I have been into IT and networking for 7 years. Nowadays I work in the technical department of Media Veneto SRL, an ISP that operates mainly in northern Italy

In my free time I enjoy experimenting with virtualization and networking related concept such as VLANs, static and dynamic routing (OSPF and BGP) and (obviously) IPv6 addressing
